Franz Josef

By Justin Jones • Mar 30th, 2008 • Category: blog, videoblog

The little township of Franz Josef doesnt have much. There is one small market, 2 bars, and a couple of backpackers hostels. But this sleepy little two road town is home to one of the biggest tourist draws on New Zealand’s West Coast: The Franz Josef Glacier.

The day started on a sad note, as new friend Aussie Steve was leaving us in Christchurch, and we were pressing on to the Rangitata […]

Pandora Withdrawals

By Justin Jones • Mar 5th, 2008 • Category: cool

I’m addicted to Pandora.com.  And since I came to New Zealand, I’ve been too far off the grid to get my daily Pandora fix of perfectly personalized music.  You can’t really fire up the  laptop and get online while you’re camping  in the woods near lake Tekapo on New Zealand’s South Island.
So when I finally […]

A Day in Kaikoura

Here is a video diary of a day I spent in Kaikoura, just a stop along the road on the Flying Kiwi Adventure Bus Tour.
