I’m Justin Jones, blogger, writer, editor, podcaster, Burning Man camp organizer, and travel expert. I’ve been on the road and in the travel biz for most of my adult life, traveling off and on for the better part of the last 10 years. I studied in London, lived for a year and a half in Australia and New Zealand, traveled multiple times across Eastern and Western  Europe, spent time in Malaysia and Israel and Turkey, and for the better part of the last 2 years, I’ve been living in Central America, bouncing between Nicaragua and Guatemala.

JustinWasHere.com is my personal blog where you can read stories of my travels, but I’m also the founder & editor in chief of WorldTravelBuzz.com, and I host of the Radical Travel Podcast.

Obviously, I love to travel. I’m always looking for my next big adventure and my next great story to tell — check out the Chicken Bus Series for an example of what I do and how I travel. For me, it’s all about the people you meet along the way and I travel to tell their stories and my own.

I love hearing from my readers! You folks are a big part of why I do what I do. If you’ve got travel questions, or you just want to say hi / profess your love for me / send me hate male, please do get in touch! I do my best to respond to every email I get.

I’m always looking for great brands and destinations to partner with, so please check out my Media Kit, Advertising Prices, and get in touch via the contact form.

Here are a few fun facts:

-I’ll never turn down an offer to drink scotch.

-I can pass clubs and juggle 5 balls and I really do dream of joining the circus.

-My favorite modes of transpiration are via Chicken Bus or in the back of a pickup truck.

-I’m a Pisces, but  don’t believe in Astrology (or god).

-I love watching Jeopardy! and listening to Wait Wait… Don’t Tell Me! (I’ve got a thing for programs with punctuated titles.)

-I play guitar, and I’m not good at it.

-My last name isn’t really Jones.
