Let’s start with a subject that should be the center point of any great conversation… Bacon! Hosted by the World Food Championships, the Ultimate Bacon Experience takes place in Las Vegas on the 9th of November. It is, as the name suggests, an incredible event featuring some of the best bacon in the world. From sweet to savory, there will be an amazing array of outstanding culinary creations all using bacon! It’s a bit pricey at $40 a ticket, but they throw in a bacon cocktail and the level of bacon will be like no other so it’s well worth the price.
Next up we have a huge event that takes place in downtown Vegas on the 26th and 27th of October. It’s a massive event featuring music, art, food and more. The music line-up for this year alone is outstanding with an insane number of acts including: The Killers, Kings of Leon, Vampire Weekend, Childish Gambino (AKA Troy from Community) and so many more.
When you add the food of some of the world best chefs and restaurants featured in the ‘Culinary Village’, incredible wine, beer and spirits in the ‘Alchemy Garden’, an outstanding amount of theatrical events and some art from the ‘Rise Above’ project; you end up with the massive festival they call ‘Life is Beautiful’.
Since we’re talking about Vegas, we should probably talk just a little about gambling. The World Series of Poker is one of the biggest events around. Very briefly, the the World Series of Poker is one of the biggest poker events around and is definitely worth checking out if you are a fan of the game.

Back to something non gambling related, the next on our list of Vegas events is the Professional Bull Riders World Finals. It is exactly what it sounds like, real life cowboys riding on the back of a bull win a trophy, a title, and $120,000. It’s incredibly fun to watch and the atmosphere in the stands is amazing, with tickets selling for less than $20, it’s a steal!
